The Thousand and One Nights, also know as The Arabian Nights, or Alf laylah wa laylah in Arabic, is a collection of stories from unknown dates and authors taking place largely in the Middle East. Shahrazad embarks on a quest to save her own life as well as the life of the kingdom’s young women by telling her new husband a series of stories over the course of a thousand and one nights.
